Leadership

Providing health services of care and education, has allowed APECA to enter into a relationship with communities. Cultural change is slow and time spent in relationship with the people enables introduction of new ways.  These young people, educated and trained, hold the keys to a better future for their own communities and our world.

Strangers in their own land, the Peruvian Ministry of Health has vaccines they cannot deliver to these remote communities, culturally specific education they cannot teach, and transportation costs they cannot manage. APECA is present with the people, especially the young, having formed a bond through years of experience.  Out of these experiences new and lasting leadership will be sustained.
